Winter Enduro

For those who want to train for the next Enduro race season, or simply want to get away from their rainy and muddy home trails in the winter months, we have put together a long weekend full of descending and Enduro madness in the mountains above the cities of Pisa and Massa-Carrara.

Both locations are perfectly set up for tailoring a winter training programme to your group’s skills and fitness level. Most of the trails can either be reached pedalling on double tracks or can also be shuttled, depending on the amount of training you would like to get in.

Monte Serra towers almost 1000m above Calci, a town just north of Pisa, and is essentially a natural bike park, sculptured by the local Pro’s. The trails are incredibly well built and offer the complete package, from steep and rocky downhill tracks to fast Enduro style runs.
Facing the Tuscan Mediterranean coast, Monte Serra is the perfect winter riding location and has been home to the Toscano Enduro Series in 2016. This amazing playground is a short pedal away from our winter base camp, which is situated at 600m just under Monte Serra.

The mountains above Massa are literally Enduro heaven, having hosted the Toscano Enduro Series many times now. Here we will spend the morning with you on natural and purpose built tracks or take the challenge to get to the ’Top of the World‘ trail, giving you a serious body work out, rewarded with some of the most amazing trails and views of the Tuscan coast.
In the afternoon you have the option for more gravity filled bike park runs in the forest, all found after a short uplift in the van. To finish the day with a highlight and big smile, we will take you on a 10km natural descent, littered with jumps and drops courtesy of the locals.

Winter Accommodation

All of Ridgeline’s guests will be based at the Serra di Sotto Agriturismo. Serra di Sotto is truly a chance to get away from it all – situated in a remote location 600 metres high in the mountain range of Monte Serra, just a short pedal away from our trails. The accommodation is all incorporated into a beautifully restored ancient Convent, with on site bar, restaurant and big pool. Everyone will get their own private room with en-suite bathroom.

The Agriturismo is famed throughout the area for its local traditional Tuscan cooking. Included in your package is a two-course dinner with complimentary wine and water as well as a typical continental breakfast including the famous Italian coffee to kick start the day.
For lunch we will stop at one of the local restaurants where you can expect to pay around €10 for a typical Italian lunch meal.

Incorporated into the Agriturismo we have built a fully private, lockable professional bike storage and maintenance garage. Everything you need to build and maintain your bike is available to you 24/7 with our full Park Tool set-up, air compressor and jet wash area. The garage is located directly next to the main house, which means you are never more than a few metres away from your loved one!
